We are so thankful for what the Lord has given us. We are also thankful for his clearness in telling us to "GO" to Guatemala and share his love to others that are in need. To proclaim his name and share the Gospel message to those that may never hear. Praise the Lord!
The first month of deputation for us was extremely busy with starting off the administration side of this new ministry. We are not yet complete with initial start-up, but we have a good jump on things I believe. Our monthly newsletter has been sent out for January and February, we received Brianna's birth certificate and started the process of getting her social security card, we have been reviewing many different over-seas insurances, we had a good first meeting with JT and Sheryl Turner (One Way Ministries), along with Greg Brown (missionary to Guatemala), we have prayer cards set-up and ready for print, we got my flight booked and language school set in place for my 3-week trip in March, we made visits to 2 churches and placed 4 more churches on the calendar for visit, we put an article in One Way's newsletter, and much more.
Our annual financial goal of $30,000 per year is at 22% as of the end of January! This is much further than we thought we would be at this time. Thank you so much for being a partner with us in this ministry. If this continues to proceed at this rate we will be on the field well before our target date of January 2011.
